Ginny has been involved in the exploration and expression of the human body for over twenty years.
In the 1980s, she trained in Dominican Republic and Mexico as a contemporary dancer, primarily
in the Martha Graham technique, but she also trained in the technique of Limon, Cunningham, and
Taylor.
During the span of her twenty-year dance/theater career, she was a soloist performer; choreographed
dance pieces; and during the latter years taught modern dance to students ranging in age,
from children (creative movement) to adults.
Ginny has pursued her Pilates Instructor training in Madrid, Spain-in the Pilates Polestar
Method-where she returns every year to participate in continued education courses, as well as to
offer classes to local students.
In addition to her own Pilates work, Ginny is also a Yoga student. She carefully weaves into her
class methodology elements of Hatha Yoga that she has found to be compatible with her discipline
and enhancing to the Pilates program.
Ginny's radiant personality has earned her the loyalty of her students, who represent a variety of
countries & cultures, and who find her technique, dedication, and enthusiasm to be the priceless
ingredients in their class experience.
She believes in the natural resources and potentials of the human body, including its ability to
maintain and restore health through pro-active integral methods within every individual's reach,
such as healthy eating habits, positive and kind mind-set, and appropriate physical activity.
